Honda CR-V

The sixth-generation Honda CR-V enters 2026 with a maturity-focused model year: recalibrated dampers and steering, a touchscreen of up to 12.3 inches in most European markets and, in North America, the first-ever TrailSport Hybrid trim. In Europe the range is exclusively electrified. The e:HEV pairs a 2.0 i-VTEC Atkinson engine with two electric motors for 184 PS, returning 6.0 L/100km WLTP in 2WD and 6.7 in AWD. The e:PHEV adds a 17.7 kWh battery, 79 km of electric range and 6.8 kW AC charging in about 2.5 hours. Inside, ergonomics, the honeycomb air-vent strip and segment-leading rear space stand out, with a boot of around 600 litres. Honda SENSING is standard and upper grades add SENSING 360, a 360-degree camera and adaptive suspension. US and Gulf markets also get a 190 hp 1.5 turbo with CVT — with up to 7 seats in GCC spec. It is neither the cheapest nor the quickest SUV, but its all-round balance makes it one of the segment's safest buys.
